There was a gal named Theresa Usibelli who came to look at the house I had for sale on First Avenue. I believe she was involved as a committee member at Golden Valley Electric Cooperative. We met on the 6th of December 2011 at 1319 First Avenue. I was frank with Theresa about the power plant impacting the house. She saw the black stuff and suggested that I get in touch with Glen Weaver, the CFO of Usibelli at the Key Bank Building. I did just that. I took my coffee carafe over there and had a meeting with Glen Weaver. I also had a meeting with Buki Wright. Buki Wright told me in no uncertain terms that Theresa Usibelli has nothing to do with the power plant nor the Usibelli Coal Mine. He was really perturbed.
One day there must have been an event at the power plant because there was even more black stuff all over than normal. Even all over the front door of the house. I called Kelli (my real estate person) and she called her friend a lawyer. The lawyer said for me to call him. I did so. The lawyers name was Mike Kramer. I told him what was going on and he said that everyone knows coal is bad. He said the power plant is owned by the city. I said, no I think Usibelli owns it. He said he’d have to call me back. He did call me back in order to say good luck and to say that he had probably said too much.
